Stewardship

The ACA works to ensure easy access to safe, enjoyable paddling opportunities. The ACA stewardship program focuses on clean and healthy waterways, paddler access, and full funding for water resources protection.

The Delaware Valley Division of the ACA supports these goals by participating and co-sponsoring an annual cleanup on the Delaware River, and we monitor critical issues involving the health of the waterways in our region. For example DVD-ACA submitted a letter of support to the Delaware River Basin Commission for the Special Protection Waters regulations recently adopted for the Lower Delaware River.
