Paulinskill RIver
This trip on the Paulinskill River was on the first Sunday in January 2008. The forecast was for temperatures in the 40's but I doubt it made it out of the 30's. Five of us put-in just north of Stillwater. We managed to find our way through the log jams shortly after we launched. Lunch was on a nice grassy bank in the sun and warmth. We took our time paddling down through the rapids between Marksboro and Blairstown. Because of snow and ice where we normal park for the takeout, we decided to paddle another 2 miles down to Lambert Road. We managed to get off the water before dark, but had to switch boats at the put-in in the dark.
