Founding of the Delaware Valley Division

On January 25th, 1998, the American Canoe Association Board of Directors Approved the new Delaware Valley Division of the ACA. The DVD mission is to unite the paddlers of the Delaware River watershed for the benefit of  boating  and watershed resources. Until now, the watershed has been split between three states and three ACA divisions and no single voice spoke for the region. The DVD crosses state and county lines to include the whole of the Delaware watershed.

The boundaries of the DVD are in brown
The boundaries of the watershed appear in red.
