Dear members of the Delaware Valley Division / American Canoe Association (DVD)

You are invited to the Delaware Valley Division of the American Canoe Association's Annual Paddle & Picnic Meeting, which will be held rain or shine on Sunday, September 27 at Bucks County's Tinicum Park, located along River Road (Rt. 32) on the PA side of the Delaware River, about one mile downriver from Frenchtown, NJ.

The event will begin with an easy but scenic Delaware River trip (optional). For those who would like to join the river trip we'll meet 9:30 AM at the Tinicum Park parking lot along River Road to drop off boats and run a shuttle to the take-out. This parking lot is just across the road from the put-in access.

We'll gather at the Tinicum Park pavilion by 1:00 PM for hors d'oeuvres, with a potluck meal at 2:00 PM, a brief and informal meeting will be held around 3:15 PM with adjournment at 4:00 PM. DVD will supply grilled items (dogs & burgers) and beverages. Please bring a salad, dessert, hors d'oeuvres or casserole to share. We always end up with a great spread of delicious eats! Note: The park does not allow alcoholic beverages so plan accordingly. As noted DVD will have some beverages on hand.
