ACA Canoeing Course

Two local ACA Solo Canoe courses offered in July:

·      Essentials of River Canoeing, Saturday, July 18, and

·      River Canoeing, Sunday July 19

Solo Canoe instruction will be given on July 18 and 19, 2009 by ACA instructors Linda Straus and Kurt Navratil.  These are entry - up to class II skills courses.  It’s great for those who are just starting out, perhaps adding canoeing to current kayaking skills, or want to sharpen up on the many canoe strokes and maneuvers instead of being a “hack”.  In addition to boat control, safety and rescue are also addressed.

We’ll spend two days on the Delaware.  Saturday is the ACA skills course "Essentials of River Canoeing" and Sunday is the ACA skills course "River Canoeing".  Sign up by emailing or calling Linda Straus at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. The cost is $75 for both days ($50 for one day) with checks payable to Delaware Valley Division-ACA as a fundraiser.
